Movie extracts.

Is there a hack out there to get the movies out of Exile into AVI format, or
readable on a machine without the game installed?
Half just curious, half wanna send one to someone.

Yes. The program you want is called FMV-Extractor. I forget which site
I downloaded it from. It was some time ago, but if I remember it
correctly it was a German site. Go to Google and do a seach. If you
cannot find it send me an email and I will send you what I have. Do

Indeed it can, and the help file even includes info on how to get a viewer
for the Bink format files on which the video in MystIII is apparently based.
Which I did, and said viewer site had exactly what I was looking for.
I could, with the help of this new utility, convert a 40Mb movie in Bink
format into a 1.4Gb movie in AVI format. (I'd best delete that.)
It'd be easier to just copy the disks anyway. ;-)
I'll be keeping this Oh - Lemme try find out out what it calls itself...
Rad Video tools is what it calls itself thing around for at least a while. I
can take Avi's live...might see about putting them in Bing with this thing.
